Training

There will be a mandatory meeting and training session on Sunday, February 20, 2022, at the National Stadium. All members and recruits of Hurdles Crew Ja and Measurement Judges (Scientific) are required to be in attendance. The session will commence at 10:00 am sharp.

The dress code is a white t-shirt, black full-length jeans pants, dark non-branded shoes and a black non-branded cap.

Training Session

Hurdles Crew Ja will be having a mandatory meeting and training session on Saturday, January 8, 2022, at the Jamaica College Track. All recruits and existing members are required to be at this meeting and training as there are several important topics/operational changes to be discussed and amended going into the new track and field season. This meeting is slated to begin at 5 pm immediately following the end of the Jamaica College Invitational. As per our customs, you are required to dress in a white t-shirt, straight non-ripped black jeans pants, black non branded cap and dark coloured non branded sneakers.

Training Session

Please be advised that Hurdles Crew Ja will be having a training session on Saturday, December 18, 2021, at the National Stadium commencing at 11 am.

The dress code is black straight jeans pants, white t-shirt, comfortable non-branded sneakers and a black cap

Recruitment Drive 2021

We are pleased to inform you that Hurdles Crew Ja is now recruiting volunteers for the 2021 – 2022 Track and Field season. Recruiting will be between the period November 27, 2021, and December 18, 2021. Please be advised all recruits are strongly encouraged to invest in a black straight jeans pants and a white t-shirt.

This year we will provide officials to serve as but not limited to the following:

  • Hurdles Officials
  • Measurement Judges
  • COVID Protocol Compliance Officers
  • Start and Track Equipment Managers

Please be advised accordingly,

  1. There will be a training session on Saturday, January 30, 2021 commencing at 12:00 sharp at the National Stadium.
  2. The mandatory dress code is a black jeans, white shirt, hat, sneakers and a mask 😷. Please note if you have no mask you will be barred from entering the National Stadium.
  3. The following are strictly prohibited and failure to comply will result in removal or disqualification from the Hurdles Crew: no tights, no joggers, no slippers, no ripped jeans, no 3/4 jeans, no shorts, no hugging, no spaghetti strap blouse, no sleeveless, no crocs.
  4. You are all asked to walk with your own personal hand sanitizers containing at least 70% alcohol volume.

Please be on time and come prepared to do some rigorous training while social distanced.
