About the Hurdles Crew
The Hurdles Crew is a section of officials who specialize in hurdles events. We are volunteer officials at track and field athletic meetings in Jamaica. Though we specialize in hurdles events we are also responisble for starting and track equipment. We also act as meet officals in other sections when called upon to do so.
The Hurdles Crew started as the Hurdles and Track Equipment Crew under the vision and direction of John Messam and Derick Lawrence. Both Derick and John have since passed away.
